The location is excellent. Everything is close. the staff, sergio and ines, were friendly and helpful. breakfast included many choices and was a great start to the day. i appreciated their recommendations and assistance .
the street in front of the hotel is narrow. i had to walk half a block up the hill, inconvenient on a rainy day.

The room was modern with usb sockets and a mini-bar. the bathroom had a walk-in shower with good water pressure. a coffee machine would be a good addition. Otherwise, it was well-equipped.

the hotel's location is close to the riverside and the dom luis 1 bridge. a wide selection of pastries, breads, cheese, meats, and fruits were available at breakfast. there were also hot dishes and yogurts on offer.

Disappointing Room Assignment and Noise Issues

The hotel's location was acceptable, providing easy access to nearby attractions.
I was disappointed with the room I received, it felt more like a storage space than a proper room. It was impossible to get a decent night's sleep because of it. Plus, the staff was unhelpful when I requested a different room.

the staff answered questions about the area with great skill. they helped us get settled into the room easily. the breakfast was delicious, it included many options.
the free water was only available on the first day. i found that there were no coffee makers in the rooms. also, there were no hot water kettles.

Really good Stay Near the Douro

This hotel are very clean. The front desk persons are very friendly. The location are spot on, only a short walk down to the riverside. I liked the breakfast. It had an very nice selection of pastries to set me up for exploring this wonderful city.
Uber drivers did not pick up in front the hotel. This are due to the narrow one way street. I had to walk up the hill. This were inconvenient when it rained.

Breakfast include a wide selection of items. There are pastries, breads, cheese, meats, and hot dishes. I also saw fruit and yogurts available. Breakfast selection depleted were not replenished very fast.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The front desk helped me when I needed it. Someone named César give recommendations for local places. He go out of his way to help.

Fantastic City Stay

The staff was very helpful they provided excellent service. I found the breakfast amazing a varied buffet. Our room was spacious it had comfortable twin beds. The location was superb it allowed easy access to many attractions.
The room overlooked an alleyway wall it offered little natural light. The curtains did not fit well causing light to shine into the room. I had trouble sleeping because of this light issue it detracted from the overall stay.
